English and Baseball
Boston is known as the sports capital of the U.S. and boasts several sports franchises playing in the tops of their leagues. Baseball is certainly no exception. Boston’s beloved Red Sox are a top ranked team and an integral part of the city’s culture.
For this reason BSML has put together a unique program that offers students the opportunity to live, practice, and learn this proud Boston—and distinctly American— tradition.
English & Baseball includes:
- Combination of 2 classroom lessons and 3 on-field practices.
- Tour of Fenway Park (Home stadium of the Boston Red Sox)
- School trip to an official Red Sox game.
Whether you are an avid fan of the game or an enthusiastic beginner, this class is designed to improve all levels of play while stressing the development of English language skills through discussion, vocabulary and idiom lessons, and movies.
Our Baseball staff has over 18 years experience. The head of the program has played professional baseball in the Dominican Republic, Spain, and the U.S. and participated in baseball camps and clinics in several different countries.
